Positive Negative (Sienna)

from $800.00

16in x 20in x 1.5"in
Acrylic on canvas
2022

Hand-painted original on canvas, signed by the artist.
Finished with a matte varnish to protect against UV damage.

About this work:

A collection of shapes that hover, balance, overlap, and rest. These forms create equally complex silhouettes. An optical flipping sometimes occurs, when negative forms appear positive. Some forms repeat, mirror, advance, and recede. Seen together, their idiosyncrasies are more visible, and their relationship with one another is more apparent. They reflect, mimic and rebel against one another.
